Paint doesn’t get ruined in one day. It wears down slowly. Automatic car washes drag stiff brushes across your clear coat. A dirty mitt or a single bucket pulls grit back over the panel. Rain leaves mineral spots that eat into the surface once they sit in the sun. Sap, bird droppings, and pollen do their own damage while they wait to be cleaned off. You never see any of it happen. It just builds up, until your paint looks flat in the sunlight.
We check your paint first. Your clear coat is thin, and correcting it means removing a small amount each time, so there’s a limit to how much your car can take. We measure how much you have before we start. That tells us how hard we can cut and where to stop. It’s the step that separates a proper correction from a shop that buffs first and finds out later.
Every one of those marks is a tiny groove in your clear coat. Wax and glaze fill the groove and hide it for a few weeks. We take a different approach. We smooth the surface down so there’s nothing left to catch the light.
Then we work in stages. The first stage cuts, taking out the damaged layer. The next refines, clearing any haze the cutting left and bringing back the shine. Some cars need two stages, some need three. We test a small area first to find the right pad and polish for your paint, then work panel by panel. When we’re done, we seal it, because fresh clear coat is exposed and your results should last.
Scratches that have gone through the clear coat can’t be polished out. If your fingernail catches in it, we’ll tell you before we start, not after.

Phenomenal job. Took my 9 year old black truck here that has turned many miles on gravel roads and construction sites for a paint correction and ceramic coating and let me tell you it’s unreal how well it turned out!

Best in town. I have a brand new car where I took for detailing to another shop and when they detailed they made lot of swirls. Took it to Metropolitan and these guys were amazing. Detailed the car and polished it and removed 90% of swirls. Its not perfect but, a lot better than what it was earlier. Since its a daily driver, I am not bothered about remaining swirls as they are virtually invisible unless seen in very bright light at an angle and it definitely requires deeper paint correction. Folks here are passionate about what they do and that shows in the output.
