I just picked up my car from Metropolitan detail and have to say I am incredibly pleased with the results. I had the vehicle wrapped in STEK color PPF for a color change and protection. The vehicle I brought in was not a standard vehicle, so the lead installer and co owner walked around the car with me and provided a custom quote. They forewarned me about all of the potential problems that could occur when installing color ppf, and highlighted any areas where seams were going to be required. When I picked up the car it looked brand new, they completely cleaned the vehicle and did an incredible job installing the material. I am convinced this material will last a long time with how much care and attention to detail they showed when installing it. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone considering a vehicle wrap of any kind. Another huge bonus of going with Metropolitan Detail is the free loaner car. Metropolitan Detail did a fantastic job of applying full body PPF to my new-to-me 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. The car’s Sublime Green body and satin black hood look phenomenal now. The PPF is practically invisible (other than the everlasting shine) and knowing that it’s as protected as it can be makes driving the car a lot more fun! Yes. DYNOshield and DYNOmight are the same films we install on daily drivers, and the thicker bumper and rocker coverage helps on the highway too. The one exception is the windshield film. It is made for track use, shows a little texture, and wears with wiper use. If the car sees a lot of rain, we will talk it through with you before it goes on.
The 10 year installation warranty covers DYNOshield and DYNOmight. Windshield film is a wear item by design. Rock strikes and wiper use will mark it over time, and that is the job it is there to do. We explain exactly what to expect before we install it.
